FAMU’s Pre-Physician Assistant Society (PPAS) was founded with the mission of empowering and preparing future Physician Assistants for success in both their academic and professional journeys. The organization is dedicated to expanding the knowledge, skills, and exposure of aspiring PAs through educational workshops, networking opportunities, clinical-experience support, and professional development activities. PPAS also serves as a community that fosters unity, mentorship, and encouragement among students, helping each member grow personally and academically while building a strong foundation for competitive PA school applications. Through shared goals and consistent support, we strive to shape confident, capable, and well-rounded candidates who are ready to excel in Physician Assistant programs and in the healthcare field as a whole.
