Using University Crawls
These Terms apply to the University Crawls campus-guide application. By using the application, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Campus information
University Crawls aggregates and organizes information about campuses, professors, businesses, housing, organizations, events, and other student-life resources. Information may change, be incomplete, or contain errors. Always confirm time-sensitive, academic, housing, safety, pricing, operating-hour, or event information with the relevant official source before relying on it.
No university affiliation
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, University Crawls is not an official website of, endorsed by, or operated by any university, college, professor, organization, business, or other entity listed in the application. School names, marks, and logos belong to their respective owners.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person or falsely claim campus affiliation.
Campus verification
Verification indicates that an account demonstrated access to an eligible university email address at the time of verification. It does not guarantee current enrollment, employment, identity, conduct, or affiliation beyond that verification event.
User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content for publication, you grant University Crawls a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the service.
You may not submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, deceptive, infringing, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, spam, malware, or other abusive content. You may not publish another person's private contact information, credentials, or sensitive personal information without authorization.
Reviews and ratings
Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences or opinions. Do not manipulate ratings, coordinate fake reviews, accept compensation for undisclosed reviews, or use review features to threaten, harass, or retaliate against another person.
Moderation
We may review, edit, restrict, reject, or remove content and may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, maintain data quality, respond to reports, or comply with law. We are not obligated to publish or preserve user submissions.
Third-party services and links
The application may link to university websites, businesses, ticketing pages, social networks, maps, and other third-party services. University Crawls does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, policies, transactions, or practices.
Events and alcohol
The campus-guide application may surface nightlife information or link to University Crawls event services. Users are responsible for complying with applicable age requirements and laws. University Crawls does not encourage underage drinking, unsafe alcohol use, impaired driving, or other unlawful conduct.
Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature, record, link, or integration will always work.
Disclaimer
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. University Crawls makes no guarantee that content is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular decision.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, University Crawls will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, reliance on third-party information, or interactions with other users or third parties.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
