The Literacy, Education, and Agricultural Development (LEAD) Society is a potential student organization looking for FAMU Students interested in learning about Agriculture, the Leadership Process, and our world. The LEAD Society aims to help students understand and appreciate the need to embrace agriculture and leadership as a system and process necessary for unity and harmony. Our organization will complement students' education to make them holistic FAMU graduates, aware of agriculture's vital role in FAMU, the fundamentals of human civilization and existence. Therefore, the LEAD Society will educate its members on the basics of agriculture and the leadership process, then go into communities to share our knowledge and expertise by educating the surrounding community residents on some best management practices. Additionally, the LEAD Society will increase community engagements using FAMU students to enhance our presence within Tallahassee and surrounding communities.
