Global Legal Empowerment Brigades
The purpose of Global Legal Empowerment Brigades at Florida A&M University is to support the international movement of students, volunteers, and pre-law professionals that mobilize ideas and action for human rights equality. This organization collaborates with students and volunteers from all fields of study that aspire to achieve this goal. In collaboration with other Global Brigades Chapters on campus in addition to Chapters at other Universities, Chapter participants will engage in annual recruitment, information awareness, and fundraising events which are intended to be of firsthand service to the evolution and repair of global communities. The mission of Global Legal Empowerment Brigades is to assemble a group of aspiring legal professionals committed to providing a broad and comprehensive outlook to their local and non-domestic communities. Members and volunteers of the Global Legal Empowerment Brigades at FAMU will then use their training throughout the academic school year to provide access to legal recourse and education in rural communities abroad alongside local attorneys and professionals.
