Music Independent Council (MIC) is the governing body for all Greek-Letter organizations that are music and fine arts-oriented. MIC is unique to FAMU as the parent council is known as NIMC – The National Interfraternity Music Council. Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority, Inc. Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, Inc. Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, Inc. Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, Inc. MIC is designed to be the unifying voice of those they govern. MIC works in unison to achieve a consensus set of policies, guidelines, and staple events that provide collaboration and unifies all of those who stand to benefit from its contributions to music and the arts.
