Planned Parenthood FAMU Generation Action
Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGenAction) is a movement of young people across identities and issues that advocates with, by, and for their generation to achieve reproductive freedom. With assistance by the National Youth Organizing Team (the “Youth Squad”) at Planned Parenthood Action Fund, FAMU PPGenAction organizes events and workshops that aim to: educate the student body on topics such as reproductive justice and rights as well as sexual health, and empower students to take an active role in facilitating meaningful change to the campus’s cultural climate. Additionally, FAMU PPGenAction encourages students to participate in the Florida State legislative process to advocate for legislation that protects and ensures reproductive freedom for all.
