Rattler Association of Chemists
The Rattler Association of Chemists (R.A.C.) is committed to a vision of increasing the number of students enrolled in chemistry at Florida A&M University. We provide a structured organization on campus that allows students majoring in chemistry to enjoy an environment surrounded by people of similar majors, and be affiliated with faculty who are conducting innovative research in chemistry and related fields. R.A.C. is committed to providing community service to the Tallahassee inner city area by volunteering at local elementary, middle, and high schools to help science teachers increase FCAT scores in science and math, as well as assisting other community organizations such as ADA, cancer walk, annual relay for life and the Florida chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
