We, the students of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, in order to produce a more effective student governing body, to express the general interest of the Student Body, to encourage a harmonious student-faculty-administration relationship, to provide for full student participation in student government, and to stimulate growth among students toward progressive citizenship, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the Student Body of Florida Agricultural and MechanicalUniversity.
