The Gamma Alpha Chapter was the FIRST Black Greek-Letter Sorority Chartered on the campus of Florida A&M College, May 14, 1932, by 10 GorgeouZ ladies who shared the vision of our Five Pearls. Furthermore, the Gamma Alpha Chapter was the first Black Greek-Letter Sorority chapter chartered in the state of Florida, the oldest Zeta Chapter in the state of Florida, and still holds the record of having the largest intake class in Zeta history. With staple events such as the Mr. Sapphire Pageant, Rhythm & BlueZ, and the Annual Breast Cancer rally, we continue to uphold our principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love, and Finer Womanhood. We plan to continue this legacy of our 10 illustrious charter members for the years to come.
