WTS x FDOT District 4 Traffic Safety Seminar Join us for a Traffic Safety Seminar with FDOT District 4 and hear directly from transportation safety professionals working to make Florida’s roadways safer for everyone. This seminar will provide students with real-world insight into how safety is incorporated into transportation planning, engineering, community outreach, and everyday decision-making. FDOT District 4 safety specialists will discuss the Safe System Approach, Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP), community traffic safety, safety education and outreach, micromobility, wrong-way driving prevention, Safe Routes to School, Road Safety Audits, and Target Zero. Attendees will also learn about current safety resources and strategies being used to support the goal of zero fatalities and serious injuries on Florida’s transportation system From Tuesday, October 6, 2026 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EDT at Engineering West Lobby .
