American Cancer Society On Campus is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities. The main goal of the American Cancer Society On Campus is to fight cancer by volunteering for, instating, and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society. Further goals include, but are not limited to: -Fundraise through American Cancer Society-approved fundraisers on campus. (e.g. the signature fundraiser of the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Raise Your Way). -Conduct regular meetings with all organization members. -Pursue, plan, and execute programs supporting the four strategic focuses of American Cancer Society On Campus: fundraising, cancer education, advocacy, and survivor and caregiver engagement. -Pursue, plan, and execute activities and events throughout the entirety of the school year that incorporates all focuses of American Cancer Society On Campus. -Contribute to the American Cancer Society On Campus’ growth as a collaborative effort among all students and student organizations on campus, as well as between and among this chapter, the local American Cancer Society office and staff, surrounding chapters, and the American Cancer Society On Campus National Campus Leadership Team. -Support the establishment of the American Cancer Society on Campus at surrounding colleges and universities.
