FAU Ethics Bowl and Bioethics Bowl are prestigious intercollegiate competitions focusing on ethical discourse. The team comprises six undergraduate students and competes three times a year, once at a regional tournament and twice at two separate national tournaments, one for the Ethics Bowl and the other for the Bioethics Bowl (both in Spring). For each competition, we are given a set of cases, which we research and prepare responses for that fully articulate the nuances and dimensions of the ethical considerations involved. The competition allows us to develop our public speaking, comprehension, rhetoric, research, and analytical skills in an engaging format that teaches us how to approach ethical dilemmas in a considerate and capable manner.
