National Organization for Women at FAU
The FAU National Organization for Women is a feminist student organization committed to fighting against gender discrimination, racial discrimination, sexual violence, sex trafficking, and sexist societal perceptions and institutions. Its primary goal is to create a change in the community through group discussions, consciousness raising, and actions that heighten awareness in the community. It specifically aims to develop, articulate, and enact equal pay, equal representation, and equal respect by swiftly acting, petitioning, protesting, testifying, marching, and rallying. It is a constantly evolving group, based on grassroots policy and above all our own experiences and continues it community activism by maintaining an inclusive and intuitive environment for all sexes.
