Gastroenterology Interest Group
The mission of the gastroenterology interest group is to help educate the students of Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in the field of gastroenterology and related procedures, hepatology, and nutrition. Our goal is to foster a greater interest in the field of gastroenterology and to provide opportunities for specialized education and to translate medical knowledge into gastroenterology-related skills. We would like to expand our medical education in this specialty to better address the communities that we serve and to be able to thoroughly explore our interests in gastroenterology.
