The Orthopedic Surgery Interest Group
The mission of the orthopedic surgery interest group is to help educate the students of CESCOM in the field of orthopedic surgery, increase the amount of opportunities available for students to gain experience in orthopedics, and make students competitive for matching into orthopedic surgery residency. It is our goal to help serve the aging communities of south Florida by teaching the value of preventative orthopedic care, lifestyle modifications, and teaching all future physicians the basics about orthopedic care. We would like to expand our medical education in this specialty to better address the communities that we serve and to be able to thoroughly explore our interests in orthopedics.
