Solidarity
The purpose of Solidarity is to provide an area for the discussion of and learning about contemporary socio-political issues and solutions from a left-wing socialist perspective; provide local community assistance, participation, and volunteering; allow for like-minded campus individuals to congregate and socialize; and to champion the idea of solidarity between all peoples of the world regardless of gender, orientation, skin-color, nationality, or mental and physical ability. Our objectives will be to expand on our community-centric focus by planning and hosting events to benefit the local area(s) of the City of Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, and Broward County. Events include, but are not limited to, fundraisers for local groups and individuals in-need, raising awareness of local, national, and international issues, and gathering and re-distributing resources to the homeless and impoverished.
