Sunshine Party at Florida Atlantic
The Sunshine Party is a student government party at Florida Atlantic University that, as defined by FAU SG statute 302.2200, is A group of students who cooperatively work together to seek elected office and advocate for the student body outside of elections, and which complies with all applicable statutes. The purpose of the Sunshine Party shall be to provide effective representation in the students' best interests; promote the general welfare of the student body; ensure the responsible self-­governance of the student body; uphold the principles of the Constitution and laws of the United States and of the State of Florida; to make Student Government transparent, accessible, and accountable to the FAU student body; to unequivocally represent the interests, demands and desires of the student body to the administration of FAU.
