FGCU Salutes Service and Sacrifice Veterans Day Expo The FGCU Salutes: Service & Sacrifice Military and Veterans Expo will take place on November 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Cohen Center at Florida Gulf Coast University as part of FGCU’s America 250 Military Commemoration Week. The Expo will bring together FGCU students, faculty, staff, veterans, active-duty service members, military dependents, families, alumni, community organizations, government agencies, veteran service organizations, and military partners to recognize and celebrate the contributions, service, and sacrifice of those who have served our nation. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with organizations that provide veteran and military resources, education, career opportunities, health and wellness support, benefits assistance, scholarships, internships, employment, transition services, and community programs. The event will also highlight the many ways military experience contributes to leadership, education, workforce development, and community service. Through interactive exhibits, informational tables, demonstrations, networking, and opportunities to engage with veterans and military-connected organizations, the Expo will create a meaningful connection between the FGCU campus and the Southwest Florida community. More than simply a resource fair, the Service & Sacrifice Expo will serve as a celebration of the military-connected community and an opportunity for FGCU to demonstrate its commitment to those who have served, those currently serving, and the families who support them. The Expo is open to the FGCU community and the public, and all are encouraged to attend, learn, connect, and help us honor the enduring legacy of military service and sacrifice as America celebrates its 250th anniversary.
