Join St. Matthew's House Christmas Market Drive and Help Make Christmas Brighter! St. Matthew’s House is a Southwest Florida nonprofit dedicated to providing food, shelter, housing, and transformative services to individuals and children experiencing homelessness, hunger, and addiction. Through their mission of changing lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined, they help people move from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency. They are looking for FGCU Students to organize a Christmas Market Gift Drive for the families and individuals they serve. Students can collect new, unwrapped gifts or purchase items from their Amazon Wish List to support the event. The Christmas Market allows participants in their programs to select gifts for their children and loved ones with dignity, creating a meaningful and memorable holiday experience. This project offers students a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact in the local community while developing teamwork, leadership, and service skills. All donated gifts should be delivered by Monday, December 7. There is no formal sign-up so to participate in the collection process. Students can start by creating a collection bin at their desired location and promoting the drive using flyers!
