
Stop The Bleed Training Following strong student interest in the previous session, FGCU Emergency Management, in partnership with Lee Health, is offering STOP THE BLEED® training for members of the FGCU community. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening bleeding through a brief instructional presentation followed by hands-on practice with bleeding-control equipment. The one-hour training is designed to provide participants with practical skills they can use during a bleeding emergency until professional responders arrive. Participants who complete the training will receive a certificate of completion. Space is limited to 20 students, and advance registration is required.
