(FGCU FOOD FOREST) 2026 - FALL TERM Service Learning Events (October)
(FGCU FOOD FOREST) 2026 - FALL TERM Service Learning Events (October) *BRING WATER & CLOSED TOED SHOES* "Volunteers will be assisting our Coordinator (Dylan Moncada, Samantha Sette) &(or, Marco Acosta) in processing down trimmed trees & distributing that material to surrounding mulch zones. This is light work although the day will be hot, & the bugs will be out. I recommend bringing closed-toe shoes, preferably boots, pants and long sleeves to defend from mosquitos. Gloves if you have any. You will be given plenty of water breaks & time to cool off. Definitely bring plenty of water for yourself, a snack as well." -Sincerely Dylan Moncada, Adrian Boguslaw, Ty Boyd Permaculture: (noun) ————- Permaculture encompasses various disciplines such as ecological design, engineering, and environmental construction.
