Our General Body Meetings include interactive workshops, team-building activities, and guest speakers designed to prepare you for internships, jobs, and life after college. Workshops may cover résumé building, cover letters, interviews, networking, and how to stand out to recruiters. We also use “What Would You Do?” scenarios to help members practice solving real workplace challenges as a team. Guest speakers will include professionals from a variety of industries and career paths. Each meeting is an opportunity to learn a new skill, discover a profession you may not have considered, expand your network, and ask professionals the questions you have always wanted answered. Whether you are just beginning your professional journey or preparing to land your next internship or job, SHRM General Body Meetings are designed to help you become a more confident and prepared business professional.
