After The Uniform After the Uniform: The Battles We Don’t Talk About is an honest and interactive conversation led by Ricardo Canela, Crisis Counselor and Growth & Transformation Specialist, focused on mental health, identity, purpose, relationships, crisis, and life after military service. The conversation will explore challenges Veterans may experience during the transition from military to civilian life, including changes in identity and purpose, isolation, relationships, sleep, financial pressure, accessing mental health resources, and asking for help. Rather than a traditional lecture, the program will create an interactive space where Veterans are invited to reflect, share their experiences, and be heard. The event will also highlight the importance of connection, support, and rediscovering purpose after service, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion. From Monday, October 26, 2026 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EDT at GC 316 .
