AEMB is a biomedical engineering honor society founded by Dr. Daniel Reneau of Louisiana Tech University in 1979. The purpose of the Florida International University Chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta is to recognize those current or future Biomedical Engineers who have manifested a deep interest and marked ability in their chosen professional path, and who have conferred honor on the Biomedical Engineering Department at Florida International University by distinguished scholarship, activities, leadership and exemplary character.
