Filipino Student Association
The purpose of this organization shall be to promote an expression of Filipino culture, through building a place of unity and inspiration, where every student is welcomed, every voice is heard, and every dream is given wings at FIU. We strive to create a supportive and enriching community for students grounded in the values of puso (heart), pamilya (family), and pangarap (dream). With puso , we will cultivate compassion, pride, and cultural understanding that will help students deepen their connection to Filipino heritage. Through pamilya , we will create a strong sense of belonging, where friendships grow into lasting bonds and each member will find a network of support and encouragement. Guided by pangarap , we will empower one another to pursue personal and academic aspirations, developing resilience, leadership, and confidence along the way.
