Introduction to Citation Management Using EndNote
EndNote is a powerful citation management tool that allows you to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays, articles, books, and reports. EndNote can be used alongside word processing software such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs, allowing you to cite your sources while you are writing. The software allows you to automatically format citations into any of over 2000 citation styles. This workshop will explore how to navigate the EndNote interface, import references and create libraries, and use the Cite-While-You-Write tool to cite your references directly in a document. Please contact this QEP's instructor, Dr. Nick Ruhs, if you have questions about workshop content. You MUST use your FSU email account to access this workshop through Zoom. Please ensure that your Zoom app is up to date before the workshop. Check-in ends 10 minutes after the scheduled start time and late arrivals will not be admitted. The Graduate Skills Workshop series is a collection of workshops developed in collaboration with the Graduate School and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) to support graduate research and success. Please note: The target audience for this workshop is graduate and doctoral students, but participants at all levels are welcome to join. To qualify for the Research and Creative Activity Travel Grant, only fully matriculated and admitted FSU students will be considered.
