Navigating Open Access Publishing
This workshop will give graduate students an overview of the open access publishing landscape, including current funder requirements, finding open access journals, and understanding the different OA publishing funding options. Participants will learn about no-cost publishing options such as FSU's transformative agreements with academic publishers and self-archiving, how to determine journal archiving policies, and strategies for covering publication fees through university resources, publisher waivers, and grant funding.
