The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics and the Department of Art History invite you to a book talk with Professor Tenley Bick Michelangelo Pistoletto: Figuration and Cultural Politics YALE UNIVERSITY PRESS, 2025 After an overview of her book, Dr. Bick turns to Pistoletto's understudied experiments in real and representational living in his collaborative performance works of the late 1960s and 1970s, and to "direct, lived action" as an antiauthoritarian, world-staging practice.
