Big Sister Little Sister at Florida State University
The Kinship of Big Sister Little Sister at Florida State University is an organization that was created to encourage fellowship among all female students regardless of age, race, religion, creed, economic status, personal doctrines, and/or beliefs. We aim to ensure that the underclassmen ladies (freshmen and sophomores) are confident in and make the best of their collegiate experience here at Florida State University. This mentoring program is a great source of networking; providing both social and professional resources, and thus also creating more opportunities for members to become well-rounded and developed individuals. Furthermore, our organization strives to give back to the community by also mentoring high-school females that are considered at-risk for losing interest in their academics. Overall, the Kinship of Big Sister Little Sister at Florida State University intends to make a positive impact on the lives of young women in the Tallahassee community.
