The purpose of this organization is to alleviate the challenges faced by first-generation students who may not have the same support network as their peers. Recognizing that these students cannot simply rely on parental guidance, our aim is to create a community where they can lean on each other for support. Drawing from our shared experiences, we believe that by coming together, we can mentor and guide one another to navigate the academic journey more smoothly. Our mission is centered on fostering a vibrant and supportive community on campus, with core objectives that include networking among minority students, engaging with the broader community, and providing avenues for job and scholarship opportunities. To achieve this, we have developed a mentoring program where upperclassmen will offer guidance to younger students in the same major or with similar interests. We emphasize the importance of building strong student relationships through various means such as social events, tutoring sessions, peer mentoring, volunteer opportunities, and providing a platform for members to voice their ideas and concerns. Additionally, we encourage students to take leadership roles in organizing events that align with the organization's goals, with our club offering support in bringing these ideas to fruition.
