Future Forward at FSU
Future Forward is a student led organization that is dedicated to promoting basic health and wellness education for children in our community. Our mission is to empower kids with essential knowledge about personal hygiene, nutrition, and safety. If permitted by local schools, this would be done both in person and through digital resources, such as tutorials and fact sheets. Through lesson-planned visits to local elementary schools, we teach important topics such as proper handwashing, dental care, nutrition basics, sun protection, and how to respond to minor injuries. With enough fundraising, we also aim to provide schools with wellness supply bins containing essentials like deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and thermometers for children who need them. Future Forward is dedicated to making a tangible difference in children's lives while giving our members experience in leadership and community service.
