The (L)iteratures & Linguistics (In)terdisciplinary (C)onference (LINC) is a graduate-led organization hosted by the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University. Its mission is to provide graduate students with hands-on leadership experience in planning and hosting an interdisciplinary academic conference while fostering collaboration among graduate students from multiple departments across the university. LINC supports scholarly exchange in linguistics, literature, and related fields by creating an inclusive academic space for graduate students to present research, engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, and build professional skills. Through conference participation and organization, members develop leadership, communication, and academic presentation skills that prepare them for future national and international conferences and for professional careers in academia and related fields.
