Music Minds Tallahassee Club
Music Minds Tallahassee introduces music into people's lives so that they can enjoy everything that it has to offer while also strengthening their cognitive health. Our aim is to make music more accessible and do our best to ensure that everyone has the chance to prevent cognitive impairment. We focus on working with young students, providing them with music education and offering free music lessons for under-resourced schools. Simultaneously, we also work with the older generations in providing them with engaging and brain-stimulating musical activities and performances. Aiming to bridge the generational gap, we have a culminating annual event where the students we teach are able to perform for the elderly, fostering connection through music. Finally, we also focus on leading donation drives for instruments and fundraising for Alzheimer's research.
