Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages excellence beyond academics. Founded in 1914 at Washington and Lee University, ODK honors and develops leaders through scholarships, workshops, career opportunities, leadership resources, and a lifelong connection to other members. Comprised of some of the strongest leaders at Florida State University, ODK members include sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, faculty and staff, alumni, and honorary members who emphasize the "ODK idea" of exemplary conduct, unselfish service, and success achieved in worthy undertakings. Some hallmark events and programs include the Grads-Made-Good Award, 7:50am Monthly Breakfast Clubs featuring campus and community leaders, monthly leadership development events, and service events in the Tallahassee community. ODK works closely with the Center for Leadership & Service to link students with resources on campus and support leadership education, identity development, and community engagement.
