The Big Event Tallahassee
The Big Event Tallahassee is one of the largest, one-day, student-run service projects in the nation where the students of colleges and universities will come together to say ‘thank you’ to the residents of their college town. A tradition started at Texas A&M University 26 years ago, The Big Event will serve as a day of service to the Tallahassee community. Students, faculty, and staff will participate in this annual event to show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting for community members. Although The Big Event has become one of the largest one-day, student-run service projects in the nation, our message and our mission will be to simply say “thank you.”
