Kappa Alpha Psi is a social fraternity which prides itself in training for leadership and is geared toward achieving in every field of human endeavor. The founders of the fraternity sought a formula that would immediately raise the sights of black collegians and stimulate them to accomplishments higher than they might have imagined. Our Objectives: To unite college men of culture, patriotism and honor in a bond of fraternity. To encourage honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor. To promote the spiritual, social, intellectual and moral welfare of members. To assist the aims and purpose of college and universities. To inspire to service in the public interest. Today, on the campus of the Florida State University the dream that was realized in the year of 1911 continues to flourish. One of our annual and longest running philanthropies is Kappa Christmas. The event features various performances and entertainment throughout the evening with the goal of raising funds and collecting toys for local families who are unable to have a Christmas of their own though the Marine's Toys for Tots Foundation.
