Best Buddies at UCF
Please contact us at UCFBestBuddies@gmail.com for questions regarding membership, upcoming events, or how to get involved! Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The UCF chapter is a friendship chapter, focused on partnering up our members in one-to-one friendships. Pairs have the opportunity to hang out outside the club like any friends would, as well as attend our weekly socials and over 5 large-scale events, including the Talent Show, Hoedown, and annual Inclusion Week in the spring. As a part of our mission towards inclusion, we partner with other organizations on campus. Some of our highlights include partnering with Greek life, UCF athletics, ACS, LMSA, CHAARG, Knights Exemplar, the UCF Police Department, Active Minds, and Special Olympics. Everyone has room for one more friend!
