Knights Experimental Rocketry
We do everything that has to do with high powered rocketry and more. Whether it's designing, building, and launching rockets in and out of competition; making and testing student built rocket engines; or even making Hall-Effect Thrusters; we do it all! Our mission is to cultivate a passion for science, technology, and space exploration while developing hands-on skills that prepare students for the professional industry. We aim to establish UCF as the Premier Space University by winning rocket competitions, including the largest collegiate competition in the world at IREC; and working with other colleges and companies outside of UCF to better both them and ourselves. Active Groups and Projects: IREC Flight Bi-Prop Liquid Rocket Two-Stage Rocket Launch and Test Infrastructure Electric Propulsion High-Power Rocketry Certification Program Technical Skill Workshops Check out our website at kxrucf.com and join our discord at discord.gg/kxrucf to get involved!
