Why Join?: Research completed by UCF's Aphasia and Related Conditions lab has shown that participants in Mission SPEAK feel a real connection to their student communication partner and look forward to weekly meetings. This organization also offers students the opportunity to gain experience with people with aphasia and practice real strategies and activities used by graduate clinicians and speech-language pathologists.
