NMDP at UCF is a student-led organization focused on education, recruitment, and fundraising to support patients in need of marrow and stem cell transplants. Our mission is to raise awareness about blood cancers, disorders, and the importance of donor registration. Education efforts include workshops, campus events, and drives that aim to dispel myths and provide accurate information about the donation process. By fostering informed conversations, we help students understand how they can make a life-saving impact. Fundraising supports both patient-centered initiatives and our on-campus activities. Funds raised go toward outreach, research support, and hosting events that strengthen our community’s ability to contribute meaningfully. Recruitment involves engaging students and the campus community through events designed to connect potential donors to opportunities for joining the donor registry.
