Omega Leo Club at UCF ๐ฆ Service isn't just what we do; it’s who we are. The UCF Omega Leo Club is built on a foundation of four global pillars: Diabetes Awareness, Vision Health, Hunger Relief, and Environmental Stewardship. Whether we are protecting our Orlando ecosystem at our Adopt-a-Road site or serving as a direct support system for those in need, we believe that true leadership is found in the consistency of showing up. If there is a need in Orlando, we make it our primary focus. What We Actually Do We don't just "volunteer"—we lead specialized service cycles that offer hands-on experience: Preventative Health: We conduct professional Glycemic (Blood Glucose) screenings to both the underserved and general community members who just want to stay on top of their health. Hunger & Hygiene: Every third Saturday of the month, we host "Hungry Saturdays," where we cook and serve warm, nutrient-dense meals and distribute essential hygiene kits. Vision Outreach: We process and distribute hundreds of Project Right to Sight readers, ensuring our neighbors can see a brighter future. Environmental Care: We take pride in our campus by maintaining our dedicated UCF roadway through the Adopt-a-Road program. The Impact of the Leos Since October 2025, we’ve proven that a small group of dedicated students can move mountains: 800+ Service Hours completed in our first few months. 450+ Nutritious Meals served and 100+ Hygiene Kits distributed monthly. 300+ Lives Impacted through our health and vision screenings. Are You Ready to Step Up? The Leos want you! If you want your volunteering time to actually mean something, you’re in the right place. Join us for GBMs, hands-on cooking nights, and medical outreach events that go beyond the classroom.
