Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs
The Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs provides leadership and oversight for many of the University of Florida's essential operational services, including Business Services, Environmental Health & Safety, Transportation & Parking Services, the University Police Department, Emergency Management, Physical Security, the Stephen C. O'Connell Center and Business Affairs Technical Services. Our office also provides oversight of campus space use, event permitting and related University regulations and policies. Through the GatorConnect Event Permitting System, we review requests for non-Registered Student Organization events and activities, coordinate with campus partners and help ensure events are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with University requirements.
