The purpose of Club Creole is to celebrate and promote the rich culture of the Haitian people, fostering greater awareness and appreciation within the University of Florida community and the broader state of Florida. We aim to establish a positive and empowering image of Haitian culture by: Increasing academic excellence amongst Haitian and other students. Establishing annual cultural activities on campus to educate the student body about Haiti. Assisting members of the student body interested in learning about Haitian culture. Recruiting Haitian and other students of the University of Florida. Supporting the effort of achieving diversity on campus. To ensure that the organization attains its goals, the following activities shall be the responsibilities of the Executive Board: Organizing professional workshops and seminars Hosting social events Recruiting new members Promoting Haitian culture Making a positive impact on the community Representing the organization with integrity. Club Creole maintains a stance of political neutrality. This means the organization upholds the principle of impartiality, avoiding partisan bias in political matters, situations, or roles. Club Creole does not support any side in disagreements, conflicts, or elections and remains unbiased and objective. This ensures the organization maintains trust, credibility, and impartiality. Individual members may express personal opinions. However, Club Creole as an organization will not take positions on policies, major political issues, or elections. Members may speak as individuals, but the organization itself will not be publicly associated with any political party, candidate, or political organization.
