GatorAI‘s primary purpose is to provide students with an outlet to learn more about AI, regardless of experience, and to also provide projects that use AI/create interdisciplinary connections between the different colleges of the University of Florida. To create a constructive learning atmosphere where all students are welcome to learn more about AI, GatorAI will utilize goals such as: Working with concepts taught within UF’s AI initiative to embody more advanced features that progress the development of each team’s project. Creating a constructive environment with students from different backgrounds/colleges, regardless of sex/race/ethnicity, to foster unity towards the advancement of each team’s project. Observe current AI advancements and provide students with lectures/seminars from current professionals within different industries that all utilize AI. Provide a positive atmosphere for students to learn/work with AI that aids in the preparation for each students’ career.
