The Gator Chapter of the Advancing Indigenous Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is dedicated to fostering community, cultural awareness, academic success, and professional development for Indigenous students and allies at the University of Florida. Gator AISES recognizes that Indigenous identity is global and welcomes Indigenous peoples from around the world. Our mission is to increase Indigenous representation in all fields while creating a supportive environment where students can connect, thrive, and celebrate their cultures. Through mentorship, leadership opportunities, cultural programming, networking events, community engagement, and professional development workshops, Gator AISES empowers students to achieve their academic and career goals. Members have opportunities to connect with Indigenous professionals and scholars, attend regional and national conferences, participate in research and service initiatives, and engage in meaningful discussions about Indigenous knowledge, innovation, and community well-being. Gator AISES welcomes students of all backgrounds.
