Gator Grill Club
Gator Grill Club is a student organization at the University of Florida that uses grilling and cooking to bring people together through service, education, and community. Our mission is to create a positive impact by preparing meals for those in need, supporting charitable causes, and providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and cooking skills. Throughout the year, members participate in community cookouts, charitable fundraisers, grilling competitions, and service projects that benefit both the Gainesville community and campus organizations. We also host educational workshops on grilling techniques, food safety, fire safety, and outdoor cooking, along with guest speakers and visits to culinary and agricultural facilities to help members learn more about food preparation and sourcing. Gator Grill Club partners with other student organizations, philanthropic groups, and campus departments to expand service opportunities and build a stronger campus community. In addition to service, we host social events such as tailgates, themed cookouts, games, and friendly competitions that create an inclusive environment for students of all experience levels. Whether you are an experienced griller or have never cooked before, Gator Grill Club provides a welcoming space to learn, serve, lead, and build lasting friendships while making a meaningful difference through food.
