Gator Microbiome
Gator Microbiome is a student organization dedicated to educating students of all backgrounds about the human microbiome and its powerful connections to nutrition, health, and everyday life. We make microbiome science accessible and engaging so that students do not need a background in science or healthcare to participate. Through educational events and interactive activities, members can explore how the microorganisms living in and around us influence the body. Our mission is to build a community where students can discover emerging microbiome research, connect with others who share their interests, and use what they learn to make healthier, informed choices for themselves!
