Generation Sketch Comedy
Generation Sketch Comedy is the longest-running sketch comedy troupe in Gainesville, FL and has been providing laughs to the University of Florida and Gainesville community since the spring of 2006. Combining quick wit and a penchant for being goofy, Generation has continued to deliver high-quality comedy to audiences every fall and spring semester. Our purpose is to help members improve their writing and acting skills and give them the experience of putting on a comedy show. Generation holds auditions at the beginning of each fall and spring semester, and the cast meets twice a week to write, work on, and perform sketches. At the end of the semester, they put on a free show for the public.
