Student Alliance Against Neurodegenerative Disease
The organization will work to educate the student population at the University of Florida about several neurodegenerative diseases including but not limited to Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), motor neuron disease, and multiple sclerosis. We will also work to serve the members of our community who are living with such diseases through volunteering and community outreach. Finally we will work to support the fight against neurodegenerative diseases by raising money for organizations such as the Alzheimer's organization and attending walks and other events. We will also connect students interested in research with faculty doing research in these field.
