Semiconductor Career Readiness Organization
Semiconductor Career Readiness Organization (SCRO) is a student driven interdisciplinary club that is designed with the goal to expand our member's knowledge and skills relating to the semiconductor industry. We facilitate this goal in a variety of ways, mainly by hosting lecture series where members are introduced to various topics core to the semiconductor industry, by inviting industry experts to provide insight in the field and showcase career opportunities in the industry, and by providing a hands-on semiconductor fabrication experience during the summer. SCRO offers learning enrichments that introduce more novice students to the semiconductor industry while giving more advanced students the opportunity to further understand these processes by educating others. We work to foster a culture with an open exchange of information, and we support further educational inquiry for all colleges and educational backgrounds. We are constantly improving upon what we do through the feedback of industry-leading companies and fellow professors, staff, and students.
